Why a part 3, you may ask, if any? Well, per the last update post more than a month ago, I overshot on the third one, as I'm still a bit unsatisfied with the entire song flow of my spacesynth remix of Eirin's theme, particularly on transplanting the flow of the original to a modern spacesynth context. And besides, small doses of procrastination and impostor syndrome have crept up from time to time, leading me to go back and finish up some other trackertune stuff, including remastering some old module faves of mine. But still...

If I can get them all by the end of this year, I should be able to compile my first-ever Touhou spacesynth fan album, as well as one original tailored to rhythm game stuff (it's somewhat inspired by Reisen's canon personality, whilst being an unusual triple-genre mash).

Peace out then! ;p

September has finally arrived and things are already brewing, if not that exquisite to my tastes, especially since a recent typhoon wrought havoc down here this weekend, leaving tons of damage, water uprisings, and stranded peoples nationwide. Two to three things to look out upon:

  1. "Unconlucidity; Finality" - both the new EP and the last track, composed by yours truly and Kasamiku, on September 16th, with an accompanying "Jup's Mix" (yes, it's slightly different from the EP version, and is a bit longer) to follow;
  2. A spacesynth arrangement of Cirno's theme "Beloved Tomboyish Girl" from TH06 (EoSD), releasing on September 9th, and
  3. A spacesynth arrangement of a certain boss theme from TH08 (IN), with a maximum tentative date of the last week of this month.

The common thing between all of them? All were done on OpenMPT, with a slight exception to #1 (which was co-produced on Logic Pro X), and mastered and leveled for general listening. By the way, here's the crossfade vid for the aforementioned, courtesy of Kasa himself, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPIUcp4QhIQ!

This month might more or less be one of my most productive thus far, both in terms of music and art:

Aside from my first time actually submitting something (in finality) to the Sunsrt Serenade vivid/statis rhythm game compo, days before the projected deadline, although it's a collab with someone named Kasamiku, I also recently entered into another collab project on a Neon fansong, as well as amping up my proficiency in studying and making album art myself, all pixelated ones, both fannish and original; there's also two new trackertune covers/arrangement on the horizon, if you are keen on that, and one of them's landing streight on Cirno Day.

And as for the first one, it'll land precisely next month, on the 18th, nonetheless. I dunno if the laptop I'm working most of these projects on can even handle the immense weight of rendering an intense visualizer vid without blue-screening or running out of memory :q

...and it's been (almost) exactly 4 whole years since the intro animatic for Rajarin (Kemirii)'s now-discontinued action-fantasy webcomic/video series Welcome to the New Age, of which I somehow have been long enamored about, with fanworks and stuff, both done and undone, including a full-fledged fanmade album containing original works pertaining to each of the main characters, as well as scenes in the webcomic's story itself. The latter now is aimed mostly towards rhythm games, if it ever sees an eventual release.

Anyway, here is the full sauce, no questions asked:

Months have passed, countless songs and ditties listened to, and new peoples and spaces met upon, I guess it's now safe to say, that I'm now an afficionado of rhythm games (vivid/statis) in general?

Yeah, and additionally, thanks to that gem of a multi-genre rhythm game hybrid, I have been slowly getting enamored with visualizing fanmade charts and jackets for tunes I have really liked thus far.

Also, I have a long-composed trackertune original of mine that I'm still making on for a while for the 4th Arcaea Song Contest this year, whose theme revolves around the word "Coalescence" - basically, the future and past melding and dueling together - and I hope it'll be done with justice, and meaty in terms of themes and genres.

Just wait and see, like a gardener would...

...of which I started my 22nd year of me being here on this planet with a "better anticipate the unexpected" mindset. For me, I have grown tired of the usual expecting-gifts-from-people-who-know-me-a-lot shtick, especially with the current worldwide economic situation where even a single piece of high-quality merch costs around P1500 to reliably ship, with import fees added. But anyways!

2022 was also a year where I delved into other creative sub-paths, now in depth and with a deep commitment, as well as meeting new people with diverse interests and specialities, be it online and/or IRL, and where I found out I did more music than art in general.

So, here's to another journeyful year of discovering and honing the self!

It's been quite a while since I actively was on this creative website, and look how time sprints by, alongside events that spiral out of control. This raft of time? Mostly unchanged.

And with the recent shenanigans around Twitter at the moment, with thousands of passengers jumping rafts in droves, alongside their "stuff" - be it the usual drivel or the best meal you've ever tasted - I'm slowly refurbishing my plans around mine on this endless sea we call the Internet. Because we're yet in another new age, one of the slow descent of the so-called social media juggernauts.

It has been quite a while since I last visited the NG raft with all of my done artworks so far, while still having that old Verdeian soul in my online self, but now (actually around a day ago), I turned 21, albeit with a much simpler celebration than I'd initially expected. With that in mind, the path wrough before me seems expansive with multiple career choices and strewn about with ups and downs with each meter traversed. And lastly, to be fairly honest, deep inside, I have... uh... almost zero expectations before that day came. It's as if I somehow was holding myself back from the hype, be it for plausible reasons or not.

Anyways... Happy IRL Banana Bread Cake Day to me, I guess.
