It's bespoke of a pastel-hued fever dream, isn't it? And in a fun sort of way, even when it doesn't traditionally make any sense.

Listening through this track of yours, it does just enough to communicate a sense of hopelessness, with equal amounts of frantic-ness and aggression, on a fine balance of the chipped and acoustic (in this case, the orchestral and drum parts). Although, as a minor nitpick, at around 0:34, the gain and compression seems a bit too high for my ears, especially when the samples join in harmony together. Overall, quite effective and cowboy-western-sounding.

yoo thanks for the feedback, i rly appreciate it. As for the tune, i kinda agree, but at the same time idk what i was doing so yeah. Also at some points it is too loud and it really needs to be fixed :)

Just what I had needed for that post-graduation prom dance practice vibe...
Other than that, it's got everything in the final mix right, down to the softened chord samples.

[Near Drowning]

Tight and watery, as in a sudden-death situation, it somehow fits the main character of a certain action-fantasy Tapas webcomic (to which I have come to like and sometimes theorize ever since) and her rather-interlinked past, judging from the pulsating bass and drum samples that are wholly present in this DnB track.

This is a definite 5-star from yours truly!

If there's anythung I could say about this particular track, it's that you nailed it on bringing forth this atmosphere of impending disaster. Although the guitar solo ends rather abruptly, it does more to accompany the preceding ambient sounds herein.

Yeah, couldn't think of a better ending so that's how it turned out, probably should've worked on it for a bit longer, but there is always a next time, so I will try to do this in the next track I make :D

[The Prowl]

First of all, the bass and accompanying audio lines do mix well in here, and essentially moving at every turn.

Next, the beeps, especially when put under a somewhat heavy, yet short reverb, force the idea of something urgent, or in other cases, a modern ominous scene, which you surprisingly did good at that.

And lastly, the production quality is quite on par with other dark ambient tunes out there, with no hiccups, and most of all, how all of these elements reinforce the atmosphere in such an effective way, without needing to add more.

Decent as this rather-last minute track by you may seem, it almost, in a way, encapsulates the final moments before a certain event or entry submission period closes down for good.
